I've gotten back into a routine as far as eating habits and working out. I eat low calorie, low carb, and low fat foods--which is kind of a difficult balancing act when you're trying make sure you get your protein as well to help with muscle building.

I'll have a peanut butter sandwich for breakfast (I won't eat again for another 4-5 hours because of work, so the carbs, protein, and calories does me good). A cup of soup, granola bar, and some fruit for lunch, and a small portion of whatever I want for dinner (fast food excluded, of course). It's a diet plan that I invented and it seems to be working rather well so far. I drink lots of water, diet citrus green tea, and sometimes, a diet soda.

On top of dieting, I make sure I get some sort of exercise in every day. I use the elliptical for 30 minutes at a time 3 times a week, do toning exercises in my legs and calves while at work (I stand all day long), and my abs and arms 3 times a week as well.

I'm already down 12 pounds from two weeks ago, I'm not starving myself (meaning, I'm not hungry all the time), and I'm not going crazy with the working out either. I actually have MORE energy now that I'm exercising and eating healthier.

Anyone got any good ideas on how to get rid of belly fat? That's my biggest problem area. I figured the cardio would be good for it--as well as losing the extra pounds. I want to be back down around 140 pounds.

I was up to 192 pounds at one point, which on my 5'1" frame, isn't very flattering. I'm down to 178, and I'm showing no signs of stopping. Any advice would be good advice!!

I'm gonna go work out now.
