Very quite around here lately? How's everyone's workout/diets going?
So far, very good with me. I've lost another 5lbs, and my clothes feel looser around the middle. My face, neck, hands and feet look thinner. Having an elliptical in my house makes it so convenient to work out it's not even funny. Today I did 30 minutes between teaching skating until 2 and a dentist appointment at 3. Slacking a little on the yogilates and arm weights, but I still manage to do them 2 or 3 times a week.
I haven't been as militant with my diet but I've kept it up relatively well — still lots of fruit, vegetables and less pasta/bread. The biggest help seems to be dropping my Pepsi consumption down from 3 or 4 2-liters a week to one can a day. Sometimes I can't even finish the can. I drink water instead. The best benefit of all this is my skin is looking a lot clearer!

that is my biggest issue...i LOVE soda.....its horrible. i have cut down from buying and drinking 8 2L bottles a week to only buying 4 and sometimes not even finishing them for the week..depends on what i eat...good for you that you cut soda, i know that must have been hard at first..
That was my hardest feat, by far! My friends couldn't believe it when I told them because I was such a Pepsi fiend. What really made the difference was buying cans vs. 2-liters - instant portion control. It was so easy with a 2-liter to just pour half a glass when you only want a little. Now if I want a little, I'd have to open up an entire can and waste half of it. At first I was drinking two cans a night and wanting more, but that subsided after the first week.
I still have relapses and drink two cans a day sometimes. I know I should probably drink diet or none at all, but I can't be good 100% of the time! :)
